Where in the world….?
Sometime this week, TouchPractice.com will welcome its 20,000th reader. It seems like just yesterday I was struggling to come up with my first blog and learn how to paste images and format text; now, suddenly, I’m having trouble keeping them below 2,000 words. It’s been a wild year and a half!
Where do all of those readers come from? Thanks to wordpress metrics, I can show you! TouchPractice.com has mostly American readership, but during the past six months, there have been visitors from all of the countries shaded below (the darker the shading, the more readers in that particular country):
In addition, the “tally by flag” (just double click if you feel like you’re going blind and it’ll blow up a bit) tells you the number of readers during the past six months from each of the various countries. While on the one hand I’m thankful for things like google translator, part of me wonders what on earth comes out when someone from Uganda or New Guinea translates my blog.
For tonight, short and sweet: I’m grateful for all readers, everywhere, and especially those of you who have taken the time to write me from islands off the coast of Denmark, from Saudi Arabia, from South Africa, Australia, and many other places. I am grateful to have so many pen pals and grateful for your interest in Touch Practice.
